Katie was born in Owensboro, Kentucky.  In 2002, she graduated from Transylvania University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.  She obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Kentucky in 2005.  While in law school, she was a member of the Moot Court Board and Phi Alpha Delta.

Following law school, Katie was a staff attorney for Judge Sheila Isaac of the Fayette Circuit Court.  She joined PPOM in November 2008, after working at another regional insurance defense firm.  Her primary practice areas include personal injury defense, premises liability, and products liability.  Katie is a member of the Fayette County Bar Association and the Kentucky Bar Association.

Katie and her husband, Marc, were married in 2006.  In her free time, she enjoys running, cooking and reading.
