Born and raised in Oldham County, Kentucky, Ben graduated from the University of Louisville with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.  While at the University of Louisville, Ben was a scholarship varsity track and cross-country distance runner, an active member of Phi Kappa Tau fraternity and a member of the Omicron Delta Kappa national leadership honor society.  He obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law, where he was awarded “Best Brief” in his First Year Legal Writing class.  Ben also served as the Comments Editor for the Journal of Natural Resources and Environmental Law.  Ben has been with PPOM since December 2003.  Prior to joining PPOM, he was an associate with another insurance defense law firm in Louisville. Ben currently focuses his practice on product liability defense, which includes asbestos defense, in addition to insurance litigation and general insurance defense litigation.  Ben is a member of the American Bar Association, the Kentucky Bar Association and the Louisville Bar Association. Ben is married and has two daughters. He lives near his hometown in Oldham County, Kentucky.  In his free time, Ben enjoys spending time with his family and supporting the Louisville Cardinals basketball and football programs.
